Baseball Recap: Lincoln High Comes Up Short

Lincoln High lost against Lincoln Christian back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Lincoln High came up short against Lincoln Christian, falling 14-4. The Links have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lincoln High saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Oliver Holbein, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Lincoln High's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Lincoln Christian, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lincoln High will take on rival Norfolk at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Lincoln Christian is set to face off against their familiar foe Wahoo/Bishop Neumann at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
