Sandalwood lost against Fletcher back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Sandalwood Saints fell 5-1 to the Fletcher Senators. The Saints' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Sandalwood saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trent Baskins, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI. Preston Cox also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Sandalwood's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Fletcher, they pushed their record up to 5-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sandalwood will square off against Bishop Snyder at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Sandalwood: 3.3, Bishop Snyder: 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Fletcher, they will take on Bartram Trail at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fletcher is facing Bartram Trail at the right time seeing as Bartram Trail is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
