Baseball Game Preview: Chenango Forks Blue Devils vs. Seton Catholic Central Saints

The Chenango Forks Blue Devils will head out on the road to challenge the Seton Catholic Central Saints at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Chenango Forks is coming into the game on a six-game losing streak.

Chenango Forks lost 13-1 to Owego Free Academy on Thursday.

The home team had won the previous two meetings between Seton Catholic Central and Chenango Valley, and Chenango Valley kept the tradition alive. The Saints fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1 on Friday.

Seton Catholic Central dropped their record down to 2-4 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Chenango Forks, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Everything went Chenango Forks' way against Seton Catholic Central in their previous meeting back in May of 2023, as Chenango Forks made off with a 14-1 win. Do the Blue Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Saints turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
