Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Alayah Hostetler and Kloie Yoder Lead Westview to Victory

Westview hadn't done well against Lakeland recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Warriors walked away with a 2-0 win over the Lakers. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Lakers back in September, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

Leading Westview to victory were Kloie Yoder and Alayah Hostetler. Yoder had seven digs and five kills, while Hostetler had nine digs and three assists. Yoder has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 18 times she's played.

Westview is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-13 record this season. As for Lakeland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-13.
