Basketball Game Preview: Yantis Owls vs. Saltillo Lions

Yantis hasn't had much luck against Saltillo recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Yantis Owls are taking a road trip to challenge the Saltillo Lions at 3:30 p.m. Yantis will be strutting in after a win while Saltillo will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Friday, Yantis escaped with a win against Cumby by the margin of a single free throw, 62-61.

Meanwhile, Saltillo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 70-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of Celeste.

Yantis has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. As for Saltillo, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.

Yantis came up short against Saltillo in their previous matchup back in January, falling 51-46. Can Yantis avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
