Soccer Recap: Northridge Falls Short Against Ranked Oak Mountain

Northridge faced Oak Mountain in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Jaguars lost 10-0 to the Eagles. Having soared to a lofty seven goals in the game before, Northridge's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Northridge's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-2-2. As for Oak Mountain, the win keeps they at an undefeated 21-0.

Coming up, Northridge will take on Homewood at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Homewood will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Northridge surely won't give up without a fight. As for Oak Mountain, they will challenge Fort Payne at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
