Volleyball Recap: Resurrection Christian Extends Home Winning Streak to 11 + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Resurrection Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. Everything went their way against the Eagle Ridge Academy Warriors on Saturday as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-16, 25-14.

Paige Michaelson paced Resurrection Christian's offense, picking up 12 kills. Michaelson got some help from Kylee Mayes and her 29 assists. Mayes also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kaylynn Pardue, each putting up five.

Resurrection Christian pushed their record up to 22-2 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Eagle Ridge Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-15.

Coincidentally, Resurrection Christian and Eagle Ridge Academy will both be playing Banning Lewis Academy the next time they take the court. The Warriors will head out to face the Stallions at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Cougars will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
