Basketball Recap: McIntosh Takes a Loss

McIntosh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Langston Hughes Panthers, falling 78-17. While losing is never fun, the Chiefs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 373rd, while the Panthers are ranked first).

McIntosh's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Langston Hughes, they pushed their record up to 13-1 with the victory, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.

McIntosh will face off against Newnan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Langston Hughes, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Langston Hughes Panthers face off against the Lovejoy Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
