The Clear Creek Wildcats typically have all the answers at home, but on Saturday the Texas City Stingarees proved too difficult a challenge. Texas City pulled ahead with a 52-51 photo finish over Clear Creek. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Texas City.
Leading Texas City to victory were Glenn Parker and Anson Johnson jr. Parker scored 13 points along with 7 rebounds, while Johnson jr scored 14 points along with 9 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Johnson jr has scored at least 25% of Texas City's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ronald Williams, who scored 4 points.
