Basketball Recap: Curtis Takes a Loss

Curtis lost against Olympia back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Vikings took a blow against the Bears, falling 76-49. The Vikings just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Curtis' defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Olympia, they pushed their record up to 4-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Curtis will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Yelm at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2026. The Vikings will be up against the Tornados' rather soft defense (which has allowed 68 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Olympia, they will be home for the holidays to greet Woodinville at 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
