Basketball Recap: Grissom's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Grissom came into Thursday's contest having lost nine straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 59-47 win over the Guntersville Wildcats on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Wildcats on January 4th, they had to take a 68-65 loss.

Grissom's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-17. As for Guntersville, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-9.

Grissom does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Guntersville, they will head out to face off against Fairview at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Guntersville is facing Fairview at the right time seeing as Fairview is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
