Basketball Recap: Great Commission Extends Winning Streak to Four

Great Commission entered their tilt with Walnut Street Christian on Monday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They snuck past Walnut Street Christian with a 39-35 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 61-34 back in December of 2024.

Charlie Lohsl was the offensive standout of the game as he went 6 of 15 on his way to 18 points. Kyle Rodgers was another key player, putting up seven points along with eight boards and three steals.

Great Commission's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-6. As for Walnut Street Christian, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Great Commission didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 46-39 defeat against Huntingdon Christian Academy on the 4th. As for Walnut Street Christian, they will challenge Juniata Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
