Volleyball Recap: Centaurus Comes Up Short

Centaurus suffered their biggest defeat since April 29, 2025 on Friday. They lost 3-0 to the Rampart Rams. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

While Centaurus was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Rampart's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-18, 25-21.

Colton Peller paced Centaurus' offense, picking up ten kills. Peller got some help from Zane Harr and his 17 assists.

Centaurus has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Rampart, they pushed their record up to 14-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Centaurus will head out to square off against Arvada West at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rampart, they will venture away from home to face off against Cheyenne Mountain at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
