Softball Recap: West Texas Wins Going Away Against Sunray

West Texas hadn't done well against Sunray recently (they were 1-7-1 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Comanches put the hurt on the Bobcats with a sharp 15-2 win. The Comanches might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by ten runs or more this season.

West Texas is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Sunray, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Texas will host Highland Park at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Sunray, they will face off against Booker at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
