Spring Woods fell victim to Stratford's stalwart defense on Saturday and couldn't make it onto the board. They suffered a tough 9-0 defeat at the hands of the Spartans. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Spring Woods in their matchups with Stratford: they've now lost seven in a row.
Meanwhile, after soaring to nine goals the game before, Cypress Creek were a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They were the victim of a rough 5-1 defeat at the hands of Northbrook. Cypress Creek was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.
Spring Woods' defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Cypress Creek, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8-4 record this season.
Spring Woods might still be hurting after the 5-1 loss they got from Cypress Creek when the teams last played back in March of 2023. Can Spring Woods avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
