Buena hadn't done well against Mountain View recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Colts sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Mountain Lions. This was a revenge game for the Colts: when they faced off against the Mountain Lions back in March, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

Mountain View lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Kristopher Klappert, who had eight digs and three assists.

Buena's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Mountain View, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-15 record this season.

Buena will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Pueblo at 6:00 p.m. As for Mountain View, they will square off against Cienega at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bobcats will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Mountain Lions surely won't give up without a fight.
