Volleyball Recap: Springfield Southeast Takes a Loss

Springfield Southeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the West Prairie Cyclones.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-13.

Presly Werts paced Springfield Southeast's offense, picking up seven kills. Werts got some help from Parker Maxey and her 12 assists.

Springfield Southeast's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for West Prairie, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-11 record this season.

Springfield Southeast wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Centennial on the 4th. As for West Prairie, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Riverton on the 4th.
