Crowley County is 8-2 against Rocky Ford since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Chargers will challenge the Meloneers at 4:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Crowley County and six for Rocky Ford.

Crowley County fell victim to Byers and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 9-0. The shutout was out of character for the Chargers seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in April.

Meanwhile, Rocky Ford came up short against Colorado Springs Christian last Tuesday and fell 7-2.

Crowley County's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Rocky Ford, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11.

Everything went Crowley County's way against Rocky Ford in their previous meeting back in April, as Crowley County made off with a 14-3 win. Will the Chargers repeat their success, or do the Meloneers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
