Volleyball Recap: North County Gets the Win

North County hadn't done well against Central recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Raiders had just enough and edged out the Rebels 3-2. For the Raiders, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 victory the Rebels walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day North County got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-27, 25-12, 21-25, 15-12.

Camille Tiefenaur had an outrageously good game as she had 30 digs and two aces. Those 30 digs gave her a new career-high.

The win made it two in a row for North County and bumps their season record up to 9-7. As for Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

North County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Ste. Genevieve on the 30th. As for Central, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against West County on the 29th.
