It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Clover ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Catawba Ridge Copperheads 7-6. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Copperheads, too.
Clover's record now sits at 10-4. As for Catawba Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.
