Volleyball Recap: Brookstone Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Brookstone had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Landmark Christian War Eagles. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Brookstone easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-18.

Carsyn Galligan paced Brookstone's offense, picking up eight kills. Galligan got some help from Evangeline Gutierrez and her 11 assists. Galligan also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Priscilla Faga, racking up two apiece.

Brookstone's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Landmark Christian, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-4.

Brookstone wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Starr's Mill on the 14th. As for Landmark Christian, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Northgate on the 14th.
