The Kewanee Boilermakers will head out to take on the Richland County Tigers at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Meanwhile, Richland County put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Robinson 50-27. Considering the Tigers have won six matchups by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Gavyn Cothern and Reese Johnson. Cothern had a great game and rushed for 210 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries. Meanwhile, Johnson was balling out in the loss, throwing for 374 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per attempt.

Richland County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 421 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 190 rushing yards in nine consecutive contests.

Richland County wouldn't let Robinson keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Richland County can thank Jace Paddock and Casey A Thomann for forcing both of them.

Kewanee's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-4. As for Richland County, their victory bumped their record up to 9-0.
