Baseball Recap: Loretto Takes a Loss

Loretto lost against Brooks on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Loretto lost 12-4 to Brooks. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Loretto saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayden Aaron, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits Aaron has posted since back in May of 2024. Grayson Burleson was another, scoring a run and stealing a base.

Loretto's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Brooks, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-13 record this season.

Loretto will challenge Battle Creek at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Brooks, they will head out on the road to square off against Florence at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
