Softball Recap: Chisago Lakes Area Comes Up Short

Chisago Lakes Area came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 10-3 to the North Branch Vikings. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Vikings earlier this season, when they won 11-3.

Chisago Lakes Area has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season. As for North Branch, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-6.

Looking ahead, Chisago Lakes Area will head out to challenge Cambridge-Isanti at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bluejackets will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. As for North Branch, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Zimmerman at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
