Football Recap: Dakota Comes Up Short

If Dakota was riding high fresh off their 58-36 takedown of Lutheran last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Indians had to suffer through a 55-14 loss at the hands of the Fulton Steamers. The Indians have struggled against the Steamers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Dakota's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Fulton, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dakota will host Morrison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Indians will be up against the Mustangs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 43.33 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Fulton, they will be playing at home against Southwestern at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
