Daleville took a eight-run loss the last time they faced off against Tri-Central, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Broncos won by a run and slipped past the Trojans 6-5. For the Broncos, this counts as revenge for the 11-3 victory the Trojans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

The team relied heavily on Joshua Wilson, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run. Another player making a difference was Bryson Sigler, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Daleville's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Tri-Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.
