Football Recap: Wayne County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Wayne County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Brunswick Pirates, falling 35-10. The Yellow Jackets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 21-0.

Max Copley threw for 67 yards on 11 of 16 attempts. On the ground, Tyreese Wright rushed for 43 yards.

Wayne County's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Brunswick, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wayne County will square off against Appling County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
