Basketball Recap: Dayton Takes a Loss

Dayton fought the good fight in their overtime match against Pomeroy on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Pomeroy Pirates by a score of 38-36. The Bulldogs' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Dayton's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Pomeroy, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Dayton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 33-18 win against Riverside Christian on the 30th. Pomeroy has also already played their next contest, a 39-21 victory against Liberty Christian on the 30th.
