Volleyball Recap: Plainview Takes a Loss

Plainview was the 2-1 winner over Albertville when they last played one another back in August, but their luck changed this time around. The Bears fell just short of the Aggies by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Faith Odom paced Plainview's offense, picking up ten kills. Odom got some help from Jaxson Bruce and her 14 assists. Finally, Sagan Jackson and Abby Pociask kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked three attacks.

Plainview's defeat dropped their record down to 21-10. As for Albertville, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 15-12 record.

Plainview has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Sardis on the 27th. As for Albertville, they will welcome Guntersville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
