Basketball Recap: Western Michigan Christian Gets the Win

On Wednesday, the Western Michigan Christian Warriors had just enough and edged the Mason County Central Spartans out 50-48. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Western Michigan Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Mason County Central, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Western Michigan Christian won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Fruitport at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fruitport will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Western Michigan Christian surely won't give up without a fight. Mason County Central and Ravenna will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
