Volleyball Recap: Anoka Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

The Anoka Tornadoes were able to grind out a solid victory over the Osseo Orioles on Wednesday, taking the game 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tornadoes.

While Anoka might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Osseo scored at least 22 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-23, 22-25, 25-23.

Mark Mosneguta paced Anoka's offense, picking up 22 kills. Mosneguta got some help from Hank Anderson and his 23 assists. Anderson also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Chase White, racking up four apiece.

Anoka pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Osseo, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Anoka will take on rival Irondale at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Osseo is set to face off against their familiar foe Spring Lake Park at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
