Soccer Game Preview: Riverside vs. Stanfield/Echo

The Riverside Pirates will head out on the road to challenge the Stanfield/Echo Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Riverside's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They came out on top against McLoughlin by a score of 2-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Riverside's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Oregon soccer rankings (they are ranked 47th, while McLoughlin are ranked 150th).

Meanwhile, Stanfield/Echo waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Prospectors 8-0. Give Stanfield/Echo's defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Stanfield/Echo's win bumped their record up to 9-1-2. As for Riverside, their victory bumped their record up to 7-0-4.
