Basketball Recap: Bryan Takes Down Napoleon in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Bryan had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Napoleon Wildcats by a score of 47-35 on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Golden Bears: when they faced off against the Wildcats back in January, they had to take a 63-37 defeat.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Chloe Cicero, who posted seven points along with five assists and four steals. Cicero has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Miller, who put up eight points.

Bryan has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-10 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.9 points over those games. As for Napoleon, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-9.

As of now, neither Bryan nor Napoleon have any future games scheduled.
