Basketball Recap: Salinas Comes Up Short

Salinas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They took a blow against the Alisal Trojans, falling 85-45. The Cowboys were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 53-23.

Alisal's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kike Jacinto, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 assists. Misael Palafox was another key player, putting up 20 points and six boards.

Salinas' loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Alisal, their win bumped their record up to 15-6.

Salinas wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 65-35 defeat against Palma on the 6th. As for Alisal, they have also already played their next match, a 63-55 loss against Carmel on the 6th.
