Soccer Game Preview: Kennedy vs. Jefferson

Kennedy is a perfect 6-0 against Jefferson since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Cougars will look to defend their home pitch against the Hawks at 7:05 p.m. Kennedy is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.

Kennedy is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They never let Washington get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Tuesday. Kennedy's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four contests.

Meanwhile, Jefferson fell victim to Iowa City and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Little Hawks, falling 7-0. Jefferson have struggled against Iowa City recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Kennedy's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-4-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three games. As for Jefferson, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
