Basketball Game Preview: Oaks Mighty Oaks vs. Valiant Cross Academy Warriors

Having just played yesterday, the Oaks Mighty Oaks will jump right back in to play the Valiant Cross Academy Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Oaks saw some tournament action on Monday. They came out on top against Wiregrass by a score of 63-56. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mighty Oaks.

Meanwhile, Valiant Cross Academy beat Edgewood Academy 67-58 on Saturday.

Valiant Cross Academy's win came from a few key players Oaks will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was John Cosby, who posted 22 points. His afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 22 points. Another player making a difference was James Cosby, who put up 17 points.

Valiant Cross Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Oaks, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
