Volleyball Recap: Berrien Springs Takes a Loss

Berrien Springs lost against Colon back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Shamrocks fell just short of the Magi by a score of 2-1.

Kathryn Bergan paced Berrien Springs' offense, picking up 14 kills. Bergan got some help from Vivienne Kittleson and her 21 assists. Bergan was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Berrien Springs now has a losing record of 7-8-1. As for Colon, the victory got them back to even at 3-3-1.

Coincidentally, Berrien Springs and Colon will both be playing Union City the next time they take the court. The Shamrocks will head out to face the Chargers at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Magi will play them later in the day, at 9:00 p.m.
