Football Game Preview: Silverado Skyhawks vs. Las Vegas Wildcats

The Silverado Skyhawks will face off against the Las Vegas Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 57-13, which was the final score in Silverado's tilt against Basic on Wednesday. The Skyhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Las Vegas faced Green Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. Las Vegas took a 30-19 hit to the loss column at the hands of Green Valley. The matchup was a 12-12 toss-up at halftime, but the Wildcats couldn't quite close it out.

Silverado's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Las Vegas, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.

Silverado was dealt a bruising 49-6 defeat at the hands of Las Vegas when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Can Silverado avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
