Athens picked up another tournament win on Friday. They came out on top against the Central Heights Blue Devils by a score of 52-45. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hornets.

Athens is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. As for Central Heights, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Athens wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 50-42 victory against Nacogdoches on the 27th. As for Central Heights, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Woodville at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
