Green River's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They strolled past the Riverton Wolverines with points to spare, taking the game 62-48. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 56-47 win back in February.

Riverton lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Malachi Smith, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Ryan Cox was another key player, putting up eight points and seven boards.

With the victory, Green River broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-16. As for Riverton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record this season.

Green River wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 45-32 loss against Evanston on the 8th. Riverton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
