Basketball Game Preview: United Golden Eagles vs. Sandy Valley Cardinals

The United Golden Eagles will take on the Sandy Valley Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. United will be strutting in after a win while Sandy Valley will be coming in after a loss.

On Monday, United beat David Anderson 32-19.

Meanwhile, Sandy Valley was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Wednesday as they fell 55-50 to Newcomerstown. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sandy Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for United, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

United came out on top in a nail-biter against Sandy Valley when the teams last played back in December of 2023, sneaking past 44-42. Does United have another victory up their sleeve, or will Sandy Valley turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
