Soccer Recap: Shelby County Comes Up Short

Shelby County came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Brown Bears, falling 3-0. If Shelby County were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to Brown when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Shelby County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Brown, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Shelby County will head out on the road to square off against Cooper at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Brown, they will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Central at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
