Soccer Recap: Waynesville Comes Up Short

Waynesville was the 4-1 winner over Brookville when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Spartans took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Devils on Thursday. Waynesville have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Waynesville's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1-1 and their overall record down to 4-6-1. As for Brookville, they now have a winning record of 5-4-1.

Coming up, Waynesville will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Troy at 7:15 p.m. As for Brookville, they will head out to challenge Preble Shawnee at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
