Volleyball Game Preview: Lexington Minutemen vs. Richmond Spartans

The Lexington Minutemen will head out to challenge the Richmond Spartans at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lexington has now lost 16 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since September 10.

Lexington lost 3-0 to Lafayette County on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-15, 25-14.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Richmond, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They won by a set and slipped past Knob Noster 3-2. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Spartans as it put an end to their five-match losing streak.

Lexington's defeat dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Richmond, their victory bumped their record up to 4-11.

Lexington came up short against Richmond when the teams last played back in August, falling 3-1. Can the Minutemen avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
