Softball Recap: Clearwater Valley Wins Going Away Against Non Varsity Opponent

The home team had won the previous two meetings between Clearwater Valley and Non Varsity Opponent, and Clearwater Valley kept the tradition alive. The Rams were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over Non Varsity Opponent on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won five games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Riley Parsons made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over six innings pitched. Parsons was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one double. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Megan Myers, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Sypress Martinez was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs.
