Downsville posted their closest win since April 24, 2024 on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 victory over the Block Bears. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Demons.

Downsville's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games.
