Basketball Recap: Friday's Victory Is Durant's Seventh in Last Nine Outings

Durant had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They secured a 32-28 W over the Bishop Kelley Comets on Friday.

Bishop Kelley's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caroline Rabb, who posted eight points. Rabb is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games she's played. Anne Blankenship was another key player, putting up six points and eight boards.

Durant has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8-1 record this season. Bishop Kelley's defeat dropped their record down to 18-8.

As of now, neither Durant nor Bishop Kelley have any future games scheduled.
