Basketball Recap: Anderson Prep Academy Triumphs

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Anderson Prep Academy had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged the Tindley Tigers out 54-51. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Jets have posted since November 12, 2024.

Despite the loss, Tindley still got an impressive performance from Ariauanna Hall, who almost dropped a double-double on 25 points and nine steals. With that strong performance, Hall is now averaging an impressive 15.3 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Rachel Day, who posted 17 points.

Anderson Prep Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season. As for Tindley, their loss dropped their record down to 13-10.

Anderson Prep Academy will face off against Liberty Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Tindley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
