Volleyball Recap: Leominster Comes Up Short

Leominster lost against Fitchburg back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Blue Devils came up short against the Blue Raiders, falling 3-0.

Leominster has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Fitchburg, their win bumped their record up to 13-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Leominster will venture away from home to challenge South Lancaster Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Blue Devils are facing the Crusaders at the right time seeing as the Crusaders are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Fitchburg, they will head out on the road to square off against Burncoat at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
