The Taylor Wildcats will venture away from home to face off against the DeLand Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Taylor was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Interlachen on Monday. The Wildcats were the clear victors by a 13-4 margin over the Rams.

Amya Ramos was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. She is on a roll when it comes to RBI, as she's now brought in three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Caydence Hassell was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.
Ramos wasn't the only one making solid contact: Taylor kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in three consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, DeLand never let their opponents score on Monday. They blew past Pine Ridge 15-0. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Hailey Whidden made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Whidden was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Teagan Squires, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Alex Lacombe, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Taylor's record is now 10-7. As for DeLand, their record now sits at 8-9.
Taylor might still be hurting after the 14-1 defeat they got from DeLand in their previous matchup back in March. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
